GF/DF/Vegan Raw Brownie!

Hello Everybody,


After the Christmas period, I wanted to make something that was a bit healthy rather than filled with sugar! Raw Brownie is the perfect recipe to make if you want something sweet, but that is actually full of good wholesome ingredients!


You will need…




  • 2 cups of nuts (I used a mix of almonds, walnuts, macadamia, and hazelnuts)
  • 1/2 cup of seeds (I used pumpkin, and sunflower)
  • 4 tablespoons of cocoa/cacao powder (I used a mix)
  • up to 2 cups of dates (soaked in hot water)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey/agave nectar
  • 1 handful of Bluberries
  • Vanilla (grinded or fresh)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Barley Grass Powder


Let’s go…

  1. Line a brownie tin with baking paper and set aside
  2. Soak your dates in boiling water for a minimum of 10 minutes, until soft
  3. Measure out your nuts and seeds and add some grinded/fresh vanilla to them, and place into a food processor
  4. Mix the nuts and seeds until they are finely ground
  5. Add the cocoa/cacao powder, and barley grass powder and mix until combined
  6. Now add the dates 2 at a time until everything is combined (you may not need them all)
  7. Add the honey and half of the blueberries and mix until combined in the nut mixture
  8. Pour the mixture into the prepared brownie tin, and decorate with the leftover blueberries
  9. Put in the fridge for 3-4 hours, or in the freezer for 1 hour, and serve!
  10. Best to keep in the fridge to keep it fresh
